  • Last fall I photographed a story about Ohio State University’s football team and their coaches for The New York Times. OSU football is a pretty big deal in Ohio. I remember when I moved to Ohio in the 6th grade, I was bewildered as to why people’s houses were painted Scarlet and Grey. I wondered what a buckeye was and why their mascot was a nut. Walking around town on game days was like walking through a ghost town as most people were glued to their TV’s or at the game. But it was great to spend the day with the team and see exactly how hard they work to be so good. It was definitely a Columbus experience I am really glad to have.
